OnTheGo — Support
OnTheGo reminds you of the right task when you arrive at or leave a place.
Frequently asked questions
A reminder didn’t go off. What should I check?
In iOS Settings → OnTheGo, set Location to “Always”, turn on Precise Location and allow notifications. Make sure the reminder is on and that its schedule includes the current day and time. iOS decides when to report an arrival, so a reminder can come a little late, especially with a small area or in Low Power Mode; a larger area helps.
How do alarm reminders work?
On iOS 26 or later, turn on “Ring as an alarm” for a reminder. Instead of a notification it rings until you stop it, even in silent mode or with a Focus on. Allow alarms for OnTheGo when asked, or later in iOS Settings.
How many reminders can I have?
The free version keeps up to 2 reminders on at the same time; Premium allows up to 20, the most iOS lets an app watch at once. Quick reminders count toward the limit; paused reminders don’t.
How does iCloud sync work?
With Premium, turn on iCloud Sync in the app’s Settings to keep your places and location reminders on all devices signed in to the same Apple Account. Quick reminders stay on the device where you created them.
How do I manage, cancel or restore my subscription?
Subscriptions are managed by Apple in iOS Settings → [your name] → Subscriptions. On a new device, open Premium in the app and tap “Restore purchases” with the same Apple Account.
