Your recordings stay on your device
Voice Changer uses the microphone only while you record. Recordings, imported audio and videos you pick are processed on your device, and the voice effects are applied on your device. They are kept in the app’s storage until you delete them and are never uploaded to us, to advertisers or to any other service. We do not operate a server for your audio. Photo library access is used only to save the videos you choose to save. Change these permissions anytime in iOS Settings.
Sharing and Speaker Cleaner
You decide what to share: when you share or save a file, it goes only to the app, folder or person you choose. Speaker Cleaner plays tones through your speaker on the device; nothing is recorded or sent.
Advertising (free version)
The free version shows ads from Google AdMob and uses Google’s User Messaging Platform (UMP) to ask for consent where the law requires it. Google may process device and advertising identifiers, approximate location derived from your IP address, advertising data, product interactions and crash, performance and other diagnostic data to deliver, measure and limit ads, for analytics and to prevent fraud. Your audio and videos are never shared with Google or advertisers. Buying Pro removes all ads.
Tracking permission and your choices
Before ads start, the app asks for Apple’s App Tracking Transparency permission. If you allow it, AdMob may use your device’s advertising identifier (IDFA) to show more relevant ads and to measure them; if you don’t, the IDFA is not used. In the EEA, the UK and Switzerland, UMP asks for consent and Settings → Privacy Choices lets you change it later. Change tracking permission in iOS Settings → Privacy & Security → Tracking.
Purchases
To verify the Pro purchase and unlock it, the app uses RevenueCat (RevenueCat, Inc.). RevenueCat receives a randomly generated anonymous user ID, details of your App Store purchases (product, price, currency, purchase date and transaction identifiers) and basic device and app information (such as device model, iOS and app version, language and App Store country). This is used only to verify and restore purchases, unlock Pro and count sales. It is not linked to your name or contact details and is not used for advertising. Your recordings are never sent to RevenueCat.
Children
No account is required. The app is not directed to children and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has provided us personal information, contact us and we will delete it.
Deleting your data, changes and contact
Delete recordings in the app at any time; deleting the app removes its data from your device, although iOS backups may keep a copy. Information processed by Google, RevenueCat and Apple is kept according to their policies; purchase records at RevenueCat are linked only to the anonymous ID, and we will ask for their deletion on request.
