Quran Offline lets you read the Quran surah by surah and find any verse by searching for a word — all offline, with the Arabic text and the translation together.
Frequently asked questions
How do I search for a verse?
Type a word or phrase on the home screen. Every verse whose translation contains it appears in the results, with the matching words highlighted. Suggestions appear as you type, which helps when you only half-remember the wording.
Why does my search return nothing?
Search matches the translation text in the language you have selected, not the Arabic. Try a shorter or more common word, or a different form of the word. Because wording differs between translations, the same idea may be phrased differently than you expect.
How do I read a whole surah?
Open the reading section, pick one of the 114 surahs by name or number, and move through it verse by verse. The app remembers where you stopped, so you can continue later from the same place. You can also jump straight to a verse number.
How do I change the language or the translation?
Tap the language button at the top of the screen and choose Turkish, English, Indonesian, Urdu or French. This switches both the interface and the Quran translation, and search then works in that language.
Why do the translations differ from the ones I know?
The Quran data comes from the open risan/quran-json project, published under the Creative Commons Attribution-ShareAlike 4.0 licence. Its wording may differ from the official translation published by the religious authority in your country. For religious questions, please rely on official sources.
The text is too small to read comfortably.
Open Settings inside the app and choose a verse text size — small, medium, large or extra large. There is a separate option to enlarge the app's own interface text.
Can I remove the ads?
Not at the moment. The app is free and has no subscription or in-app purchase; banner ads cover its costs. Reading and searching work completely offline, so you can also use the app with no network connection at all.
